Training

All security personnel employed by Glen Iris are required to attend and pass the “Enhanced Basic Security Course” under the Work Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework approved by the Workforce Development Agency ( WDA).

An On-Job-Training (OJT) system has also been introduced to ensure consistency in the performance of the tasks on site. Our Operations Manager also provide OJT training using the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as the basis of underpinning knowledge to train personnel on the specific duties before they are being deployed on a site.

For skills upgrading, security personnel are also required to attend courses such as “Handling Counter Terrorism” and other WSQ certification modules which range from certification to diploma levels.

In essence, we provide appropriate and relevant training for all levels of personnel in our organization.
